Arbeitsbeschreibung.

  • You are a creative and dynamic person who takes initiatives to increase the number of prospects and to develop sales of our laboratory automation solutions and 'genomic' products: extraction and purification of genetic material, automation of pipetting and of global and integrated processes, DNA assays, PCR kits,... You propose these solutions to our existing and prospective customers in the field of molecular biology.
  • You develop sales in bio-industry, bio-research, pharmaceutical and hospital sectors by seeking out new opportunities among our prospects in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. You will build a network of privileged contacts. 
  • As a sales specialist, you detect and analyze in depth the needs and problems of the customer and bring adapted and original solutions.
  • You follow up on opportunities in Belgium and the Grand Duchy and you coordinate the necessary actions until the conclusion of the business.
  • You visit laboratories to demonstrate the equipment and train the users. If necessary, you will be supported by your colleagues or by our manufacturing partners.
  • You contribute to the marketing strategy by introducing adapted and innovative proposals to develop your turnover.
  • You work closely with our internal sales department to draft your offers and for the administrative aspects of your function.
  • Your clientele includes universities, research centers, industrial laboratories (biotechnology and pharmaceutical) as well as hospital and diagnostic laboratories. 

Kandidaten Profil.

  • You have a higher education in life sciences (master in sciences: specialization biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, agronomy) or bio-engineer.
  • Essential are practical laboratory experience in biochemistry and genetics and a good knowledge of genetic material purification and analysis techniques.
  • Professional commercial experience in a similar field will be highly appreciated.
  • You like to interact, to listen and to advise. Prospecting is a real challenge for you and you are strongly solution-oriented.
  • You work independently and proactively. You are passionate about negotiation and you are at ease with different levels of interlocutors to offer the customer the right solution.
  • You are bilingual Dutch-French and have a thorough knowledge of English.
