Job description.

The Team Leader will report directly to the Director Analytical Chemistry. He/she will be the hands-on Team Leader  who is responsible for bringing R&D development to production development while closely working together with chemists. You will plan & prioritize the right resources per production phase, overseeing the project pipeline of your team. This role requires you to be proactive. You will collaborate with various internal colleagues and external clients, which requires good communication skills.

Candidate profile.

Symeres is looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader with:

  • A completed PhD; Analytical Chemistry.
  • Preferably experience with leading a small team.
  • Good communication skills: share knowledge in and across teams, manage external client contact.
  • Good planning skills: capable of prioritizing (un)planned work or work towards clients’ deadlines.
  • Strong team player: open mind-set, working together towards goals.
  • Experience with R&D Development is a must.
