Job description.

Responsible for the scientific support of the marketing,service and sales activities at the level of acquisition, relationship management and sales, in addition to the application specialist function.

  • Perform site visits with the Sales reps in sales conversations and/orscientific conversations for knowledge support.
  • Supports customers in all Immunology related issues or questions related toafter sales support in his/her area.
  • Initiates and develops contacts on strategic and tactical level, on existing customers, with and without the Sales rep. or Sales Manager Immunology, with focus on new sales opportunities (up and cross selling) orstudies.
  • Actively maps the market to have a detailed understanding of the opportunities, according to corporate procedures and tools.
  • Stimulates the promotion of and supports the Marketing & Product Manager in organizing events (scientific and others) to reinforce the image and the brandingof the company.
  • Analyzes existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration and purchase of company products and services.
  • Recognizes challenges, opportunities and needs in the field and takes theinitiative to develop supporting pieces to address them accordingly.
  • Supports the AM for correct and updated information about the opportunities,contacts, install base of the company and competitors in CRM.
  • Prepares and delivers effective product/solutions/sales presentations.
  • As directed by the Marketing Director, take care of completion of whole or partsof Autoimmunity tenders for the product specific parts.
  • Has the capability to value the company's product/solutions in terms of impacton the customer's value chain (Clinical, Economical and Organizational). Is familiar with Health Economics.
  • Will achieve and maintain a high level of competency in knowledge of and positioning of Inova products, solutions and services. Strives to achieve similarcompetency regarding competitive systems.
  • Serves as a resource to others within the organization. May be included incorporate projects/initiatives, e.g. R&D.
  • Where necessary take on some or all of the responsibility of new analyser installations and training.
  • Provide scientific support to the Marketing & Product Manager and Immunology clinical specialist.
  • Cooperate with Sales Manager in allnew product launches.
  • Perform site visits with the sales rep. that will include pre tender qualification and attendance at pre tender meetings, also demo support and postdemo follow up as required.
  • Review scientific journals for relevant papers/articles and industry magazines forpertinent topics and share with the team.
  • Cooperate with the Sales Directors for the coordination of development and promotion of company Immunology reagent methodologies on competitor analyzers.
  • Cooperate inside the Marketing dpt. for different marketing activities (congresses, Stands, AID User Group Meetings and “Road Shows” fornew products.)
  • Cooperate with the Marketing & Product Manager to analyze and produce a monthly report on EDMA figures or independent third party if available for the Sales Manager .
  • Provide a detailed report on activities done. This will be done through an electronic agenda permanently updated and entering visit reports in CRM on aweekly base.
  • Responsible for logistics and planning regarding instrument- demo’s, evaluationsand installations.
  • Participate, as directed, in local- and international projects regarding Immunology.
  • Responsible for designing, initiating and guiding local studies for Benelux and acting as liaison for studies initiated by the company.
  • Is responsible for complying with all appropriate ISO mandated policies, procedures, work instructions and other duties and responsibilities

  • Bachelor / Master education
  • Communication and listening skills
  • Flexibility and proactivity to a fast changing environment
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent time-management and a commitment to complete designated tasks in a timely manner, especially documentation such as quotations and tender specifications
  • An ability and willingness to maintain close working relationships with the Immunology.
  • Dutch, French and English language
  • High level of knowledge of coagulation
  • Understands the IVD market
  • SAP & other corporate tools
