Job description.
They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Commercial Manager to oversee and drive the commercial strategy across international markets. This role is essential for managing and expanding relationships with key distributors in the region, ensuring the successful growth of their brand and products. The Regional Commercial Manager International will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth through effective distributor partnerships.
You will work closely with internal teams to support the execution of marketing initiatives, monitor sales performance, and identify new business opportunities.
Additionally, you will analyze market trends and competitor activity to optimize our presence in the region and achieve business objectives. This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex market environments and foster strong, long-term relationships with distributors.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, preferably in an international context, and a deep understanding of distributor dynamics.
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing new and managing existing distribution partners in the assigned geographical area to achieve and exceed predefined sales objectives.
- Build and expand a network to create new business opportunities across a large geographical area, selecting and contracting new sales channels and market segments.
- Monitor the market for alternative distribution channels and business opportunities.
- Drive the performance of current distributors in assigned international markets, building strong relationships and gaining insights into their local activities.
- Guide and support distributors in developing Sales & Marketing plans tailored to their specific markets, setting up reporting mechanisms to track implementation and regularly assessing distributor performance.
- Develop and implement launch plans for new products in collaboration with distributors.
- Attend local and international trade fairs, conferences, distributor sales meetings and other relevant events.
Candidate profile.
- Master’s degree in an economic or scientific field with a minimum of 5 years of international distributor sales experience, preferably in medical capital equipment or a similar industry.
- International and multi-cultural experience with strong regional expertise being a plus, particularly if supported by relevant language skills.
- Proven track record in the development of new and management of existing international distributorships.
- Industry expertise in physiotherapy and rehabilitation is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an international mindset.
- Hands-on self-starter, results-driven, and a team player focused on getting the job done.
- Ability to convert product benefits into value selling.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Sound analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and influencing skills in English, with proficiency in one or two additional languages.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.
