Job description.

As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind NBCL’s market growth in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Your mission: bring our groundbreaking diagnostic solutions to hospitals and labs, win the trust of surgeons and healthcare leaders, and make our unique ioPTH solution the go-to choice in endocrine and thyroid surgery.
This role combines strategic sales, hands-on demos, and close collaboration with clinical and operational teams in hospitals. You’ll be working side by side with surgeons, lab managers, and decision-makers — shaping the future of surgical diagnostics in the region.
Reporting to: Commercial Lead


What you will do:

Drive sales and market expansion across DACH hospitals

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new opportunities across DACH hospitals performing parathyroid and thyroid surgery.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with surgeons, lab managers, clinicians, and hospital administration.
  • Tailor NBCL’s solutions to customer needs and negotiate commercially sound offers.
  • Record all sales activity in NBCL’s CRM and leverage market intelligence to set ambitious, achievable targets with the Commercial Lead.
  • Partner with Clinical Application Specialists to deliver demos, trainings, and onboarding.
  • Represent NBCL at industry events, strengthening brand presence and expanding your network.

Product Demonstrations

  • Plan and deliver on-site demos for potential customers, coordinating with local clinical application specialists.
  • Ensure materials and logistics are handled — from shipment to hands-on support in the OR.
  • Confidently perform live product demonstrations in operating theatres for surgeons, anesthetists, and staff.
  • Customer Support
  • Respond rapidly to hospital inquiries, understanding the urgency of surgical environments.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and follow up to ensure smooth operation before the next procedure.
  • Coordinate service visits when necessary, ensuring seamless support.

Planning & Collaboration

  • Align closely with your manager and team, sharing updates on visits, demos, and sales progress.
  • Work hand-in-hand with CAS, logistics, and the broader EMEA commercial team.


 

Candidate profile.

What you bring:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in biomedical sciences, nursing, biology, or a related field (BS/MS).
  • Proven success in IVD (POCT) and/or MDR sales.
  • Solid track record selling capital equipment to hospitals.
  • Experience with surgeons or surgical departments is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in German and English; additional European languages are an advantage.

  • Existing network with Endocrine and ENT surgeons and hospital stakeholders.
