Job omschrijving.
Together with the team, you contribute to the development and coordination of external contract manufacturing activities related to the production of our AGROBODY™ biocontrols. This covers activities in the field of fermentation, recovery, formulation and packaging. You will work within the Contract Manufacturing team, while closely partnering with the process development and global project teams to ensure a proper scale up from lab, over pilot to commercial scale production.Profiel van de kandidaat.
- MSc/Phd in Biology, Biotechnology, (Bio)Chemistry, or Bio(chemical)-engineer; with at least 3 years relevant industry experience;
- Solid technical background in large-scale production through microbial fermentation and filtration based downstream processing;
- Experience in biological process development and in translating protein expression technologies into commercial manufacturing processes, with focus on continuous process optimization;
- Familiar with proteins and technologies for their recombinant production, analysis and characterization;
- Knowledge of solid formulation technology (spray drying, spray agglomeration, spray granulation) is an advantage
- Fluent in English
