Job Description

They are looking for an Account Manager to join their ambitious team, driving the further growth of the two businesses. As one of their Account Managers, you bring value to the company by applying life science portfolio knowledge into differentiated product (Custom Oligo’s, Sanger DNA Sequencing and NGS Library Prep Solutions) and service solutions for their customers, and by overseeing the sales process. You are going to build productive and long-term relationships with customers for future business ventures and will advance Biolegio-NimaGen brand visibility and awareness. They have exciting new (brand) product developments ready for market access, and a high-quality and well-recognized portfolio of drop-in alternatives for name-brand DNA clean-up and sequencing solutions.

Candidate profile
  • You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in life science. 
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably selling molecular biology research products (custom oligo’s, real-time PCR, nucleic acid purification, Sanger and NGS-based DNA sequencing solutions) in the life science technology industries, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English. French language proficiency is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze territory data and technical information. 
  • Competency with Microsoft Office and CRM. 
  • Experience in managing customer relationships and training people; team player. 
  • Negotiation-, project management- and problem-solving skills and the drive to deliver customer satisfaction. 
  • Availability for international travel to e.g. conferences and events (up to 20%).
