Job Description
Has direct responsibility for ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory affairs, environment, health and safety at work and data protection for Werfen companies in Belgium and The Netherlands.
  • Promotes the implementation and development of the Quality and Environmental Management System of the organisation in accordance with the strategy and objectives defined by Top Management and also ensures its management and implementation across the organisation
  • Reports to the Top Management and Board of Directors on the development of quality products and services showing the relevant problems
  • Identifies specific areas for improvement in the quality of products and services and promotes the necessary actions to achieve them
  • Provides support and proper documentation throughout the organisation to meet the standards and requirements of national and international guidelines and regulations
  • Defines and coordinates the activity of the Quality System of the company and controls its operation through verification audits
  • Ensures preparation, promotion and updating of the Quality Manual
  • Gives support to all departments of the organisation in the identification, preparation and review of procedures in accordance with the requirements established by the standards of reference
  • Maintains contact with Certification and Notified Bodies
  • Coordinates and controls the management of product and service non-conformities identified
  • Communicates, trains and informs the organisation’s personnel and stakeholders
  • Develops key performance indicators and reports on non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions and quality costs
Candidate profile
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or similar. Executive Master or MBA appreciated.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a quality department or division within the Healthcare sector or other sectors
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, audit systems and ISO standards
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and other corporate tools
  • Language fluency: Dutch, French and English
