•    Coordination of technology related matters for the waste water treatment plants of the involved production sites.
•    Technological support, de-bottlenecking, potential cost reduction and performance optimization of existing waste water treatment plants.
•    Development of new waste water treatment concepts on the basis of pilot plant studies as well as technical / economic feasibility studies.
•    Coordinating, managing and preparing conceptual / basic designs and investment cost estimates and operational cost calculations for investment decisions in relation to waste water treatment facilities.
•    Design, engineering and start-up support of waste water treatment projects.
•    Prepare periodical management reports on performance status, non-compliances and operational cost development regarding the waste water treatment plants.
•    Following evolutions and developments in waste water treatment and converting this knowledge into development and optimization.
•    Representing the company in external consultations regarding waste water treatment.
Profiel van de kandidaat

Darling Ingredients is looking for a talented candidate with:
•    A Bachelor / Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Technology or related.
•    Professional training: specialization industrial waste water treatment.
•    Preferably 3  years of experience in a co-ordinating waste water treatment role.
•    Up-to-date knowledge of waste water treatment concepts in the industry and relevant legislation.
•    Project manager experience to get projects started and running.
•    Good report writing and communication skills.
•    Good command of Dutch and English (must).
•    Willingness to travel 25% of the time. Overseas trips may require travel during weekends.
