Job Description

As the Business Development Manager at SimAbs, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue through actively approaching potential clients, maintaining existing relationships, and selling the company's products or services. Collaboration with the entire SimAbs team will be essential to achieve sales objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

•    Searching for new business opportunities by proactively exploring the market and bringing in new clients.
•    Networking actively, including participation in international conferences, and establishing connections with companies and local authorities.
•    Gathering information and conducting accurate market analyses.
•    Preparing quotations and estimates.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability of the existing client portfolio by:

•    Cultivating sustainable relationships and understanding the needs of clients.
•    Responding to customer feedback and proposing solutions or product enhancements proactively.

In this role, you will report directly to the CEO.

•    Master or Bachelor degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Lab Technology, or equivalent experience is a big advantage
•    Demonstrated history in prospecting and sales, particularly in industrial settings. Experience in the biotech sector (especially CDMOs) is highly desirable.
•    A persistent and results-oriented attitude to ensure goals are met and exceeded. 
•    Demonstrable ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity. 
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to forge strong relationships.
•    Commitment to sustainability and integrity in all professional undertakings.
•    Fluency in Dutch (both verbal and written) is essential. Proficiency in French and English is a significant plus.
•    Enjoys working in a dynamic, start-up environment.
