Job description.
As a Molecular Oncology Specialist (MOS), you will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies for Agendia’s innovative oncology solutions to achieve revenue goals within your assigned territory, while reporting to the VP Sales EMEA & APAC, collaborating closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Reimbursement, Customer Service and Finance, organizing commercial activities in partnership with Medical (MSL), and actively participating in local and EMEA sales meetings as well as project meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth of Agendia’s breast cancer portfolio within the assigned territory (Süddeutschland, Austria and Switzerland, with a focus on the German-speaking region) by identifying, developing and managing key accounts, including hospitals, pathology groups, oncologists, surgeons and oncology nurses.
- Analyze market and business opportunities, develop and execute strategic territory sales plans, and consistently achieve or exceed sales forecasts and targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key physicians, healthcare providers, organizations and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Actively develop new oncology business while maintaining existing customer relationships and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Provide billing and reimbursement support to patients, practices and hospital customers, and collaborate closely with the Market Access Manager and Reimbursement Team on clinical, medical and reimbursement documentation and initiatives.
- Support medical and marketing activities, including medical marketing plans and product development initiatives, in cooperation with Sales, Marketing and Medical Affairs.
- Demonstrate strong foundational knowledge of anatomical pathology, diagnostic technologies and competitive landscapes through ongoing training and use of company resources.
- Organize, participate in and facilitate medical and product-related meetings in compliance with company policies, regulatory and legal requirements.
- Represent Agendia at trade shows, sales meetings (EMEA and global), training programs and other company events.
- Monitor changes in the market and work environment, adapt strategies and call plans accordingly, and proactively address challenges and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer and target data in Salesforce CRM and ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks, including reports, business plans and expense submissions.
- Communicate regularly with the VP Sales EMEA & APAC on market insights, business opportunities and potential risks.
- Travel independently within the territory to support sales activities.
- Uphold Agendia’s health, safety, ethical and professional standards, and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.

Candidate profile.
Your Expertise & Experience:
- Higher education degree – level – preferably in Life Science, Chemistry, Biotechnologies or Health Care related field
- More than 5 years of successful field sales experience within the diagnostics, oncology, pharmaceutical, biotech or a related healthcare industry, combined with strong expertise in applying advanced sales concepts across diverse business situations.
- Proven experience selling to a wide range of healthcare professionals, including oncologists, oncology surgeons, gynecologists, pathologists, as well as medical doctors and nursing staff, supported by an established and demonstrable oncology network.
- Strong analytical mindset with a clear focus on results and customer needs, enabling the identification and realization of growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Native-level German and fluency in English.
- Solid general IT skills, including proficiency in standard Office applications; experience with Salesforce is a strong plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel routinely by car and air, including overnight stays as required by the assigned territory.
- Flexibility and adaptability to visit customers across a wide range of locations and professional settings.
