Job description.

As Site Director you will be responsible for the site in Groningen, you will report to the Managing Director of
Symeres NL and be part of the Dutch Management Team.
You will translate the global Symeres strategy into a local strategy, safeguarding synergy across sites and services via customer centric project teams.
Further driving the transformational change of the organization from a local to a global player, will be your main responsibility.
You are responsible for end-to-end site performance, in close collaboration with the service platform teams in a matrix organization.
In addition, you will build the fundamentals for a future proof organization, whilst also focusing on operational excellence (e.g. initiate continuous improvement to increase efficiencies and improve Key Performance Indicators).
You will be part of a fast-growing international organization with a projected 35% growth of the site.

Candidate profile.

Your profile
  • Proven experience in site management.
  • Experience in a matrix organization.
  • Strong people leader with a proven track record in change management.
  • Strong commercial mind set (result oriented).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Either an HBO or master’s degree in a science related area.
  • Experience in a chemical/pharmaceutical environment is an advantage.
  • Fluent English (written & verbal); Dutch fluency is an added value.
