Job description.

The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing clearly defined marketing and communication strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance brand equity for new and existing products across the market. This position requires an individual with strong brand management capabilities, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset. You will The Product Manager will report to the Product Management Lead based in the US.

Candidate profile.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.  
  • You have a minimum of five years marketing experience in positions with direct brand/product/category management, positioning, customer segmentation, pricing and communication strategies. Sourcing and/or private label experience helpful.
  • You have experience in a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business selling environment, or the health care or medical devices industry desired.
  • You have a good understanding of new product launch processes, product line extensions, and category/channel/segment expansion coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mind set.
  • You must have good working knowledge of New Product Development processes within the Medical Technology industry to include working knowledge of FDA and MDR requirements.
  • You have experience with large project planning and project management and the ability to lead project teams and influence functions outside of the marketing team. 
  • You have a strong business acumen with ability to plan and forecast on a national level and by product category.
  • You have advance planning capabilities including exceptional financial and data analytic skills.
  • You have experience working with and directing creative strategies and tactics.
  • You have solid communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate at all levels.
  • You have exceptional project management skills with entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You have computer literacy:  Microsoft Office Suite and CRM.
  • You have demonstrated positive energy to effectively represent products/brand internally and externally.
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English Language, spoken and written.
  • You have good presentation & demonstration skills.
  • You are willing to travel 25% of the time.
  • You are living in The Netherlands or US.
