Job description.
You will be a part of their Ultrasound department where you and your colleagues are responsible fortechnical/clinical aspects of presales and post-sales activities in Ultrasound (former Aloka Ultrasound). You will
manage the relationship with the end-users regarding all modalities and its clinical applications within The
Netherlands.
The Application Specialist has in depth knowledge of Ultrasound, the available options and the possible
configurations. In the pre-sales process you take part to product presentations and demonstrations, and answers
to tenders together with account management. The Application Specialist is able to demonstrate the possibilities,
explain functionalities, train users, customize systems and advise on the most optimal configuration. The
Application Specialist is at any time a backup for other colleagues.
Main responsibilities:
• You are able to perform demonstrations and provide customer training and support.
• You will build and maintain a scientific network.
• You will be responsible of training customers during instrumentation installation.
• You will handling and managing technical enquiries and complaint in conjunction with other team
members.
• You will be Involved in sales process, as a support, with account management.
• You will be training the customer, sales, either internally or at the customer site.
• You will attend at national as well as international meetings as required
Candidate profile.
• You have preferably a MBRT education, with specialization Ultrasound.• You have working experience as “Echografist” or as an application specialist Ultrasound.
• You have excellent communication skills.
• You have strong organizational skills and a good sense of administration.
• You have general IT and networking skills.
• You have a strong will to learn.
• You are not afraid to tackle complicated scientific issues.
• You have a strong knowledge of workflow in hospital environments.
• You are able to communicate in Dutch (fluent) and English.
• You are preferable living in the middle of The Netherlands.
