Job description.

  • Be responsible for acquiring, developing and retaining a portfolio of clients (hospitals, clinics, ICU units,ambulances..) in the South of Netherlands for PoC and core lab products ranges.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients in South Netherlands for PoC and Core Lab product ranges, understand, assess and clarify their needs, and resolve any issues they may have.
  • Provide them with scientific/commercial advice and support through personal and regular contact to ensure follow-up.
  • Take charge of each project, from analysis and needs management to completion.
  • Advise your contacts with enthusiasm and convince them of the high quality of our products thanks to your laboratory knowledge, negotiation skills and ideas.
  • Organise meetings and/or stands to promote products (marketing).
  • Proactively lead a joint strategic account planning process for the company that develops mutual performance objectives, financial objectives and critical milestones for a one-year and three-year period.
  • Identify short- and long-term growth opportunities, forecast and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in relevant trade shows and conferences.
  • Stay informed and up to date on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Axon Lab team in order to meet market needs with new ideas and ensure knowledge development within the team.

Candidate profile.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or laboratory experience.
  • At least 1 year of sales experience, you have a flair for sales and a commercial mindset, you are results- and goal-oriented. 
  • A good instinct for discovering market opportunities and bringing them to fruition.
  • You have excellent communication skills and very good interpersonal skills to understand customers and their needs.
  • Be enterprising, offer training to customers, support and develop effective sales strategies.
  • You are enthusiastic, motivated and know how to use your knowledge and ideas to convince customers of the high quality of Axon Lab products.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel.
  • Languages: fluent in Dutch and English.
